Welcome

It’s that time of year again.

Welcome to the 6th Harleston Beer Festival, hosted by Harleston Round Table!

Over the years, we’ve raised thousands for local good causes, and we hope to add to that total today. In the past year alone, we’ve donated over £8,000.

This year, we’re bringing you 25 beers from East Anglian breweries, five ciders, plus wine, prosecco, gin and tonic, rum and coke and soft drinks.
Alongside great drinks, we have fantastic local music and delicious locally made food. As always, this festival is run entirely by volunteers, who have put in countless hours to make this event possible—thank you to each one of them!

Working together always brings the best results, and once again, we’ve teamed up with other local groups to make this event a success.
Harleston Young Farmers, Harleston 41 Club, and Diss Round Table are here to help keep everyone well fed and watered, with Pepperell's Butchers running the BBQ.

This event has significant overheads, and sponsorship from local businesses and individuals helps cover costs so we can maximize donations.
From individual barrel sponsors to larger donors contributing equipment or manpower—your support makes this possible. Thank you!

Harleston & District Round Table is a group of men aged 18–45 who meet twice a month for unique activities—rafting, sausage making, clay shoots, and exclusive guided tours.
We also raise funds year-round, supporting the community through events like the Christmas light switch-on, war memorial cleaning, Santa sleigh run, and event marshalling.

If you’d like to learn more about us, please chat with one of our members.

Most importantly, enjoy yourselves! The more you eat and drink, the more we can give back to Harleston and beyond.

Cheers, and thank you for supporting us!

How did we do (2019)?

Harleston Beer Festival 2019 organised by the Harleston and District Round Table.

The round table in Harleston organised a charity fundraising beer festival at the Swan over the weekend to raise funds for local good causes.

The event saw well over 600 people over the weekend with music going on well into the evenings.

This event is by far the biggest fundraising effort in Harleston Round Table's recent history and it was great so many people came out to support it.

All proceeds of the event will go to local good causes, recent beneficiaries of our donations have been the Archbishop Sancroft High School, Alburgh and Denton Primary School and the Waveney food bank.

The Harleston and District Round Table are a group of local young men who meet socially every 2 weeks but we come together to organise charity events such as the beer festival and Santa's sleigh at various times in the year.

After the success stories of other local Round Table groups we decided that it was time we hosted an event like this. With months of planning it came together and the members couldn't be happier with the outcome, the final profit and the amount raised will be announced very soon.

As well as lots of locals attending, the Mid Anglia CAMRA group were in attendance and were extremely impressed with the local beer selection, the set up and the music.

We also had visitors from the Rutland CAMRA group who shared the same opinion. We would like to thank all of the volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this event such a success.
